Charge at Home. It's Not a Luxury.
Eighty-five percent of EV owners charge at home — and a Level 2 station is what makes that actually work. Our California-licensed electricians install chargers for all EV brands.
Know Your Charging Levels
Not all chargers are equal. Here's the straight version.
Level 1 Charging
Common, but slow — about 1.2 kW, roughly 4 miles of range per hour of charging. A full charge takes 11–20 hours. Works in a pinch, not as a plan.
Level 2 — Recommended
Designed for residential use: 6.2 to 19.2 kW, with most chargers around 7.6 kW. Compatible with nearly every EV. This is the one most homes want.
Level 3 — Commercial
The fastest option: roughly 30–60 minutes for a charge. Built for public use and commercial sites — more involved to install and test.
